What are you collecting about my child?
Almost nothing, and we cannot read the part that matters. The party is locked in your browser before it ever reaches us, with a key we never hold, so what sits on our side is a block of noise with a date on it. The link itself carries the party in the part after the #, which browsers never send anywhere. The privacy page lists every row we do hold.
Do we need a microphone for the candles?
No, and there is not one. The screen sings, counts down from their age and says blow. Nothing is listening, so nothing can fail in front of the room.
Where do the photos and videos live?
On the computer you added them to, and only there. They are never uploaded, so a party opened on another device says so and carries on.
What age is it for?
5 to 15. The younger end needs a grown up reading the challenges out loud, which is most of the fun. The older end needs a few you wrote yourself.
How long does it take to play?
Fifteen to twenty five minutes with ten to fifteen challenges, longer if the room joins in. You choose how many go in.
What if the wifi drops?
It still plays. Nothing is fetched on the day: the whole library ships with the page, and the party travels inside the link itself. Two bars of signal in a basement runs the same as a fibre line.
Does my link ever run out?
The page stops opening and says the party has ended. Nothing is deleted: the party is still inside the link you already have, and the copy in your account stays where it is, locked with your key.
Nothing you buy here runs out. The link you send is meant to keep opening, so next year it still works. You are never charged automatically, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Do I have to make an account?
Not to build one. You can build the whole game, play the preview and buy a link without one. An account is how a party follows you to another phone, and making one costs nothing and asks for no card.
One thing to know before you pick a password: the key that opens your parties is worked out from it inside your own browser and never reaches us. That is what lets us say we cannot read your party. It also means we cannot reset it, and a lost password loses the copies we are holding. Your link keeps working either way, and the builder saves the party as a file you own.
Can I get a refund?
You play a full preview before paying, so you see what you are buying. If it is still not right, email # within 14 days. The refund policy has the rest.
